His dark unblinking gaze pierces through my absent soul

It is for me, but his eyes not mine

His tilted revolting smile ties knots in my stomach

It is for me, but his mouth not mine

His lingering gentle caress sends me through celestial delirium

It is for me, but his hand not mine

His soft passionate kiss gets me drunk in euphoria

It is for me, but his lips not mine

As our bodies collide in throes of passion, 

I place my hand on his chest draped by a beautiful work of art

For a moment too brief, I feel his warm heart beating for me

But his heart not mine

And all of him will never be mine
